Abstract Submission
Introduction
Thank you for your interest in submitting an abstract to the 6th Australasian Viral Hepatitis Conference. All abstracts will be considered and must be submitted online following the guidelines below by Friday 18 July 2008. No extensions will be offered.
The conference abstract handbook is to be printed by the Journal of Gastroenterology and Hepatology (JGH). This represents an excellent benefit to presenters at the conference who will have their abstract printed in this journal and allow global access to these abstracts via the JGH Blackwell-Synergy website. Abstracts are then freely accessible and citable worldwide. Due to the deadline for printing in the Journal we are unable to extend the abstract deadline.
The link to the submission form is shown at the bottom of this page under important preparation and submission information.
Presentation Types
1. Oral Presentations. Usually 15 minutes (12 minutes for presentation and 3 minutes for question time) or 30 minutes if given a symposia slot. These are of the highest standard.
2. Poster Presentations. Posters are fully integrated into the exhibition hall and catering area (TBC). Poster sessions for each stream will be shown in the program and poster presenters will be required to be at their poster during this time and catering breaks. There may be some poster presentations that are selected for an oral poster presentation.
